One of the essential amino acids is leucine and belongs to the BCAA group. Scientific results prove that leucine is one of the most important amino acids because it directly stimulates skeletal muscle by protein synthesis - high levels of leucine in the body are a signal of an anabolic state. Leucine promotes recovery and protects muscle tissue from breakdown (it has an anti-catabolic effect).
